Minutes for May 12, 2008

Meeting called to order at 6:45 PM by Richard Boone.

Board Members Present: Richard Boone, Neric Smith, Clinton Casteel, Tom Juhl, and Martin Shook. Absent were Jack Boatman, Dennis Stewart and Melia Piper.

Others Present: Molly Piper, Al Mahon, and Stacie Juhl

Minutes: The minutes of the April meeting were read and approved on a motion by Neric and a second by Tom.

Financials: Tom/ Stacie covered the financials; Martin made a motion to accept second by Clinton, carried unanimously.

Unpaid Bills: Unpaid bills were reviewed. Al to check on bill from Commercial Turf.  Martin made a motion to apply Wiggins Electric bill for valance lights   towards family membership second by Neric, passed unanimously.  Motion by Clinton to adjust bills to exclude Wiggins Electric, UAP and limit Commercial Turf to $600 payment, second by Martin carried unanimously. Clinton made a motion to pay adjusted bills second by Neric passed unanimously.

Proshop: No new business

Clubhouse: No new business, club house is being booked.

Course: Course is in good shape, the fairway mower needs a new hydraulic pump, Al to check on a rebuilt pump.

Membership:  Eight Men’s League players are delinquent in paying their CC dues. Late payment penalty of 10% is now in effect.

New Business: Increase in course fee for high school golf has been agreed on. Richard to check with Jack Dixon on junior golf. Discussion on fees for non-members, Clinton made a motion to charge non-members $5.00 per golfer for junior golf, second by Neric, passed unanimously.

Old Business: No old business

Motion to adjourn by Clinton second by Martin meeting was adjourned.
